Officer of the Watch Report:
Officers were dispatched to the Station Cantina in response to multiple complaints concerning attempted assaults on customers. At 2133, Officers Chuck and Harkin arrived at the Station Cantina and witnessed Squires Smith and Giles of the Order of the Pressured Don brandishing swords at other Cantina customers, many of whom were located in the adjacent pantry. Although a great number of inflammatory statements made by the Squires were recorded by SSO Officers on site, common phrases such as ‘Fight like a brave and Godly soul’ and ‘Cowardly Heathen’ have been noted in the combined depositions of all witnesses to the events. The noticeable scent of alcohol in the breath of each suspect was noted in the officers’ reports.
In accordance with the parole granted previously to Squires Smith and Giles, both individuals have been placed in mandatory detention pending a hearing by an Imperial Circuit Magistrate. Form HIJ-029 ‘Imperial Circuit Magistrate Appearance Request’ #52 was send and filed via SCO Communications Office today at 2248. An additional form HIJ-114 ‘Request for Expedited HIJ-029 Approval’ was also filed via SCO Communications at 2250.
Imperial Alcohol Distribution License #902331A was displayed and registered at 2319 in the SSO by the current listed License Holder, Deacon Peter L. Aubergine of The Evangelical Church of the 3rd Resurrection. The license specifically allows for off-sale distribution from shipboard (Licensed vessel listed as SS Babtist), as well as on-sale consumption in Imperial Territory. Deacon Aubergine advises that his organization has no plans at present to acquire premises on board Machina Station. He has retained a copy of form HIB-1087J ‘Permit for Serving Establishment’ against future need.
NOTE: A form HIE-p0013 ‘Official Bribe Report’ has been filed by Lieutenant Jethro Anderson. Copies of the completed form are available.
